Tickets now on sale for Airshow 2014 headlined by RAF Red Arrows
Date: Saturday 26 July 2014
Scotland’s National Airshow at the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune, is a spectacular day out for all the family and 2014 is no exception. The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team the Red Arrows will headline the summer spectacle. Synonymous with precision flying, dramatic formations and loops and rolls, the Red Arrows celebrate their 50th flying season this year.
Airshow-goers will also be wowed by the RAF’s supersonic Typhoon, an incredibly powerful combat aircraft that can fly at twice the speed of sound, and the quick turbo-prop Tucano that is used to train fast-jet pilots for military flying. The iconic heritage aircraft the Avro Lancaster, Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, will take to the skies too above the historic military airfield at East Fortune.
Back on the ground, enjoy a day of children’s activities, fairground rides, stalls and workshops. Pick up a tasty snack and spend time in the our hangars and attractions.
Book tickets before 11 July and take advantage of Early Bird prices!
